Most travelers would agree
that a travel partner can make or break a trip. Compatibility is important. TCE is for sincere and upbeat
solo travelers who would enjoy the companionship of
other like-minded travelers. There are some travelers who prefer and/or
should travel alone.
Traveling alone can be easier
than traveling with someone who is not compatible with you. Traveling
alone is just more expensive and often lonely. Patience,
perseverance, and a positive outlook have rewarded many former members
with compatible persons to travel with. Many have found lifetime travel mates. If
you are looking for instant results, you may be disappointed. Try to plan
ahead.
We have provided a most sincere, honest and personal service to
our members for almost 20 years and are not ready to compromise our integrity
and reputation,
which depends heavily on the quality of our membership.
To ensure the quality of our membership,
we require each member to
provide their real identity (for internal use only), not just an e-mail
address. We will communicate with each inquirer and member by U.S. mail initially and, for
members, occasionally
thereafter.
New members must fill out and mail their Profile Page (bios and
details on travel habits and preferences) and join with an imprinted
check or a credit card with his/her signature authorizing it - joining on
the Internet is not permitted. Our central office in Long Island, NY (USA), will handle members'
files and
provide assistance to members when needed.
We do not offer a free or
trial service because our main goal is not
just to expand the membership, but rather to provide dependable service to
our paying members. By requiring members to pay a moderate annual fee, we not
only cover our office expenses, but also insure that those who join are
sincere in finding new friends and/or a travel partner.
